Fish Creek, affectionately known as Fishy, is the artistic centre of the area. Featuring several fine galleries, funky cafes, and renowned bookshops, as well as the famous art-deco Fish Creek Pub with its giant fish lying across the roof line, Fish Creek’s popularity is growing by the day. Foster is a picturesque town, which functions as the Prom Coasts main business centre. Schools, a hospital, medical centre, 2 supermarkets, various retail stores, banks and more, all provide essential services to the district from Foster. The availability of these services means Foster is the largest town on the Prom Coast, and has a steady and robust property market. Located just a short drive from Corner Inlet, the beautiful beaches of Waratah Bay, and magnificent Wilsons Promontory. Foster offers a range of properties including units though to large houses on 1 acre catering for families, investors and retirees.

Port Welshpool is a fisherman’s heaven with three boat launching ramps for all size boats. The restoration of the Long Jetty, coupled with the updated beach area has definitely increased Port Welshpool’s popularity with holiday makers and retirees. An up-and-coming beach side township, Port Welshpool will most likely continue to develop into a idyllic coastal haven.

Except for the ‘Prom’ itself, Sandy Point township is the most popular beach-side destination on the Prom Coast. With its endless white sandy beach, Surfclub, boating and water sports mecca of Shallow Inlet, and the stunning back drop of the Wilsons Promontory mountains, Sandy Point is a coastal paradise.

Those looking for a more relaxed and laid-back destination will appreciate Toora, and its character filled streets. Having maintained a number of historic homes and shopfronts, Toora has its own unique offerings. Toora also has an excellent boat ramp which gives access to the well marked Toora Channel. Toora real estate offers good sized homes on generous blocks.

Walkerville is a spectacular area divided into Walkerville North, Walkerville South and Prom Views Estate. Walkerville North and South are located right on the water with spectacular views of Wilsons Promontory and dramatic rocky coastline, and hold some of the Prom Coasts most exclusive real estate. Prom Views Estate is only minutes away with access to the pristine shoreline through and around the Cape Liptrap Coastal Park, and offers a more affordable coastal location.

Waratah Bay township is an exclusive coastal town located only 40 metres from the beach that stretches as far as the eye can see. Fishing, swimming and surfing can all be enjoyed along this delightful coastline. Walk south towards “the Prom” and you will soon leave any sign of your fellow humans far behind. Popular with locals, and with a popular caravan park, Waratah Bay township is another of the Prom Coast gems. Both Waratah Bay and Sandy Point offer a range of beach houses from the beach shack right through to architect designed cutting edge holiday homes.

Welshpool is 10 minutes east of Toora and is gateway to the fishing mecca of Port Welshpool which is located on the north eastern margin of Corner Inlet. A small hamlet with a great pub!
